In a small village on the west coast of Lombok, I spent a quiet week with the people of Batu Layar. It wasn’t a planned project, just time shared, quiet observations, and a few honest conversations.

What stayed with me was the rhythm of life: slow, but full. There was a calm sense of connection. To each other and to faith.

This project is about presence about letting people be as they are, and documenting life without needing to explain it.
