In the heart of Jamestown, Accra, Ghana, you’ll find the Wisdom Boxing Gym. Led by Coach Asare Ofori, it’s more than just a place to train - it’s a hub for inspiration and growth for the local youth. The gym’s goal? To teach young people about setting goals, staying disciplined, and getting an education, both in and out of the ring. As a traveler and boxer myself, I’m drawn to exploring boxing cultures worldwide. Through my photos, I want to capture the drive, the unity and hope that boxing brings - qualities I’ve felt personally and am moved to see impacting the lives of young street kids in Accra.
