Book Design
Book design is about selecting, curating and finding the right form for your vision. Together we shape a book that feels true to your work. An external eye often helps to see which images are strongest, especially when you are emotionally close to them. This is where I come in. I have designed several books, learned through practice, mistakes and refinement, and developed a strong sense for visual storytelling. We can work closely together, or you bring a clear idea and I develop it for you with regular check-up calls. The process stays flexible and adapts to you and your project.
In our collaboration, we start by looking at a broad selection of your images and talking through ideas. I share insights into different approaches to book design, including structure, sequencing and realistic budget considerations. Depending on your needs, we curate together or I create a pre-curation for you, followed by feedback rounds. A first introductory call helps to clarify the overall vision. From there, I develop a clear framework for how we work together.
