Vanessa is a documentary photographer based in Vorarlberg, Austria. Her work focuses on people, everyday life and the strength that lies within moments of change. Through her lens she captures resilience, courage and growth, always with a sense for authenticity and closeness.
With projects ranging from West Africa to the Alps, her photography moves between personal storytelling and broader social themes. What connects all her work is a search for images that remain: honest, human, and real.

“Changing the Narrative”
What once started as a volunteer experience shaped my creative output as a photographer. I connected deeply with the rural experience there, observed, and over the course of three months, built a new way of seeing things. It shaped my perspective and values. Now I follow projects that align with that mindset and contribute to changing the narrative.
